Francisco Cabrera-Feo is a first-generation Venezuelan-American trying to make his immigrant parents proud. He focuses on "slice of life" character-driven stories with radical explorations of vulnerability and empathy.

At 11 years old, he moved to the United States with his family. His brother got a job at a movie theater and from 11 am to 6 pm he would watch movies back to back... to back. This is how he learned to speak English, but also how he learned he loved movies.

He recently graduated from FSU's College of Motion Picture with a BFA in writing and directing. His latest film, YUNIOR, premiered at HBO’s New York Latino Film Festival this summer. He was awarded the prestigious "Best Long Form Fiction” Student Emmy by the National Academy of Television & Sciences.  A few years ago, his short REVOLVING CHILD screened at the Toronto International Film Festival Vanguard Awards in partnership with AXE, and in 2016 NBC Latino called him "The New Promise of Latino Cinema."

He previously worked at LA REYNA,

a joint-venture between Robert Rodriguez (El Mariachi, Alita: Battle Angel) and VICE. Where he works as a Creative Producer developing original serialized projects

for New Media Platforms (i.e Facebook, Snapchat.)
